Omena House is located in the beautiful “little finger” of Michigan, Leelanau County. It is a 5 -6 hour drive from Detroit or Chicago. Omena Bay is a south facing bay in Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan.
Flying into Traverse City is closest. Grand Rapids, MI is only about 3 hour drive to Omena.
From Traverse City, Michigan go north on M-22. Go 20 miles to Sutton’s Bay. About 5 miles north of Sutton’s Bay you enter Omena. Instead of following M-22 as it takes a hard left, go straight on Omena Point Road. The first left turn is Lake Street. Turn left and you will see Omena House at the top of the hill on the right, 5088 Lake Street.
